The leader in the Croatian market applies PLASTFOIL® for waterproofing roofs of its production plant

The leader in the Croatian market applies PLASTFOIL® for waterproofing roofs of its production plant “Franck” d.d. is the Croatian company producing coffee, tea and different snacks. It was founded in Zagreb in 1892 as part of the German transnational company “Heinrich Franck Söhne” which appeared in 1883. Prior to the World War II “Franck” produced coffee substitutes, but today the range of its products has much broadened: it includes tea, snacks, spices, powdered sugar and seasonings. In the category of ground coffee “Franck” is the leader in the Croatian market with its “Jubilarna” brand. The company's list of products also includes a large range of tea, including brands specially created for children. “Franck” was the first Croatian company launching the production of fruit tea in bags - this happened back in 1991. Being a market leader this company in its work seeks to work only with the best products. When the question about reconstruction of the roof of their main production building located at: Vodovodna 20, Zagreb, Croatia came up, a contracting company G.R.B. d.o.o. choose PLASTFOIL® ECO 1,5 mm waterproofing membrane which is already proved on many European projects. Bitumen insulation which was originally mounted on the roof of the factory can no longer ensure the continuity of the production process: frequent leaks and constant repairs took a lot of money and efforts. PLASTFOIL® ECO 1,5 mm will allow the specialists in the production of coffee and tea to carry out their main activities for many years, providing reliable waterproofing of production facilities.
