PLASTFOIL® on the roofs of Bulgaria

Nowadays many companies tend to apply energy-efficient and modern materials in the construction of their buildings and facilities. High quality, reliability, versatility of the waterproofing membrane PLASTFOIL® is appreciated not only by Russian, but also by the foreign customers. Application of this material has gained popularity in different projects in Bulgaria. It was PLASTFOIL® that company “Primex” applied for the roofing of its building. “Primex” is the leader of import and distribution of all types of tires for cars and trucks, buses, agricultural, construction, industrial and specialized equipment in the Bulgarian market. The modern trade and service centers of the "Primex" chain are located in many cities of Bulgaria - Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Shumen, Burgas, Ruse, Veliko Tarnovo and Dobrich. The waterproofing membrane PLASTFOIL ECO 1,5 mm was applied for the installation of 6000 sq. meters of flat roof of the tire center "Primex" in the city of Shumen. Reinforcement with a synthetic mesh gives the waterproofing membrane PLASTFOIL® a high tensile strength, resistance to physical and mechanical impacts. Due to its light color the roofing material PLASTFOIL® effectively reflects the ultraviolet rays typical for the climate of Bulgaria. Fast and comfortable process of installation of the membrane PLASTFOIL® was performed mechanically in a single layer, without using an open flame. The weight of the PLASTFOIL® material is 3-4-fold lighter than the weight of bituminous materials, which helps to reduce the load on the whole roofing structure. A large area of rolls (width 2.1 m and length 25 m) allows reducing the number of loading works and significantly reduces the number of welds - the main places of leakages. The waterproofing membrane PLASTFOIL® has such advantages as biostability and durability. Due to these characteristics it protects the roof from the appearance of mold and ensures a maintenance free operation for at least 30 years. The waterproofing material PLASTFOIL® in roofing structures helps to successfully solve the problem of effective protection of any buildings and structures.
