PLASTFOIL® in a historical city of the northern Poland

High-quality polymeric membrane PLASTFOIL® Eco is installed on the roof of the new office building with area of 1500 m2 in the Polish city of Elk.

The city of Elk in the northeast of the country is not exactly a big city; its population is a little over 60 thousand people. However, it is full of sights: the ruins of the Elk Castle of the Teutonic Order are preserved, the Catholic Cathedral of St. Wojciech, the Orthodox Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, the Lutheran Church of the Sacred Heart, the Baptist Church and others. The extensive forests around the city are famous for their hunting grounds.

The new office building will be reliably protected from precipitation in terms of rain and snow, due to durable and flexible waterproofing. High-quality Russian-made material is already estimated in Poland and is readily used at various facilities. We have already talked about the application of PLASTFOIL® to the city of Zalevo in the north of the country and in the historical center of Krakow.

The material manufacturer, PENOPLEX SPb Limited, has the necessary permitting documents for application in the EU countries, in particular, the European certificate Broof T1 for the use of this waterproofing membrane on the roof in accordance with the technology outlined in the European standard PN-EN 13501-5: 2016- 07. The company also has ETAG certificates, CE declarations and other documents confirming high membrane standards. Strength, elasticity, biostability, durability - these are just a few of the advantages of PLASTFOIL® that meet the strict requirements of European standards.
