Polymeric membrane based on PVC

PLASTFOIL® polymer membranes are durable and reliable waterproof materials of a new generation which are made of high-quality flexible polyvinyl chloride (PVC).

Industrial use of waterproofing membranes based on polyvinyl chloride started in the 1960s. It was then that strict standards for the quality of waterproofing materials were first formed in Europe. In Russia, these materials only appeared in the early 1990s.

At the present time, PVC membranes are one of the most common waterproofing materials, both in our country and around the world. They are actively used for waterproofing roofs, underground structures and tunnels, artificial reservoirs, pools, and containers and tanks for liquid storage.

The main advantages of PLASTFOIL® polymer membranes include:

  • service life of more than 30 years;
  • roofing without the use of an open flame;
  • quick installation thanks to only requiring a single layer;
  • light weight with a significant coverage area;
  • resistant to ultraviolet radiation;
  • possibility of installation at low temperatures;
  • environmentally safe;
  • low flammability group;
  • possibility of production in different colors.

PLASTFOIL® polymer membrane is produced at the PENOPLEX Company plant in Kirishi, Leningrad region, which is equipped with the most modern European production lines of the latest generation. Its own certified laboratory provides superlative quality control at every stage of the production cycle.

The high quality of PLASTFOIL® PVC membranes is confirmed by a number of national certifications from leading technical institutes and organizations. In addition, in August 2013 PLASTFOIL® membrane passed the European certification at the Prague Technical and Test Institute for Construction (Technicky a zkušebni ustav stavebni Praha, s.p. – TZUS Praha, s.p.), the largest certification body of the EU, which serves as further proof of the impeccable quality of these products, which have passed the most severe tests in European laboratories.
