General information

Under the conditions of underground exploitation, cast-iron or steel pipelines are exposed to aggressive action of telluric moisture (short atmospheric discharges, ground water) if the pipe is laid without insulation, or the pipe-in-pipe system is used. If the piping systems do not have water-resistant thermal insulation, the waterproofing is required to protect the thermal insulation layer from the wet environment. To protect the pipe mains from moisture and to prolong their service life, it is recommended to use modern polymer PVC coating of PLASTFOIL® GEO brand.

Advantages

  • Water resistance;
  • Biological stability;
  • Frost resistance;
  • Wear resistance;
  • Resistance to tearing;
  • Durability.
