The international electrical company E.NEXT (Electrical Newest Exclusive Extended Technologies) equipped the roof of its warehouse located not far from Kiev with an area of 4000 m2 with a reliable waterproofing material PLASTFOIL® Eco with thickness of 1,5 mm.
This is an office and warehouse complex of the Ukrainian branch office of the company in the town of Vyshnevoe, Kiev region. E.NEXT is specialized in the manufacture and supply of low and medium voltage switchboard equipment, as well as cable, wiring and lighting products. Like all electrical equipment, these products are particularly sensitive to water, so you should minimize the chance of roof leaks in the warehouse. This is successfully achieved when the roof is waterproofed with a polymeric membrane - a high-tech alternative to widespread but obsolete bitumen coatings. Unfavorable statistics concerning these products is saved up. According to the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "All-Russian Research Institute of Scientific and Technological Progress and Information in Construction", 20% of roofs covered with bitumen materials leak within 1-2 years after waterproofing works, 60% - in 5 years, almost all - in 7 years. PLASTFOIL® material eliminates such effects. The membrane is 4–6 times stronger than the mentioned bitumen coverings, much more durable (at least 50 years against 10–15), more resistant to ultraviolet radiation. The resistance of PLASTFOIL® to aggressive media is well known, which made it possible to apply it at the most important facility from the point of view of safety reasons not far from the warehouse in Vyshneve - the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. There was applied PLASTFOIL®GEO with a thickness of 1.5 mm for waterproofing fire tanks.
PLASTFOIL® waterproofing membrane is successfully used for arranging roofs and other building structures in Russia and abroad due to its high strength, resistance to environmental effects, safety, environmental friendliness and durability.
